We are seeking an enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our team and are offering training in a Hairdressing Apprenticeship to start your career in this industry. We have been operating for over ten years, and are located in the inner city suburb of Fitzroy, around the corner from all the restaurants and cafes on Brunswick Street; close to public transport, both tram and bus. Duties will include:

• Greeting clients and reception duties including processing payments

• Answering the phone, dealing with enquiries and taking bookings

• Offering and preparing client refreshments

• Promoting salon services and products

• Responding to client enquiries on social media platforms

• Posting on social media to promote our services

• General cleaning and maintenance to ensure hygiene standards

• Providing support to senior stylist and administration team

• Undertake training in salon services, commencing with basin services, blow-dry and styling, moving on to colouring and cutting services
